Having a healthcare plan ensures you get the proper care needed when you’re ill, or need medical or nutritional guidance.

Medical Society offers a healthcare plan that covers a range of convenient Telephonic Consultations with a Nurse, Doctor or Mental Health Professional and various medical services at our strategically located medical centres nationwide.

Telephonic Consultations

Medical Society is South Africa’s first digital healthcare service! We provide a convenient service that helps you save on medical and travelling costs by giving you access to professional medical consultations available at your fingertips.

If you feel unwell and need a sick note or acute medication, you can call Medical Society directly, send a “please call me”, or a WhatsApp message.

During the telephonic consultation, the Health Professional will assess your symptoms to determine a diagnosis and then, if medically necessary, they will then prescribe medication and send you a sick note.

Child Nutrition And Growth Monitoring

Medical Society assists mothers and children by providing access to various educational and medical services from anywhere in the country.

Telephonic services include a pre/postnatal support and consultation line with a dedicated Health Professional and a 24-Hour Medical Advice Line.

The conveniently located healthcare centres offer growth monitoring services, including checking weight and height by age range and developmental milestones against age.

No Long Queues

As a Medical Society member, you gain access to our easy walk-in service. Our friendly and helpful staff are standing by to provide you with the best in-house service.

Beating long queues means you have more time to proactively take care of your health and the health of your family.

As a member, you can visit any of our strategically placed Medical Society centres nationwide and receive one primary healthcare screening per year. This ensures your health is in tip-top shape. If anything looks concerning to our Health Professionals, they will provide you with either a GP or a hospital referral.

At Medical Society we want our members to know their health status, to ensure that they live a long and prosperous life, so we encourage using our services to ensure great health.

You can also receive basic eye screening, youth health education, child nutrition advice, pregnancy tests, and HIV tests at your nearest Medical Society centre, among other benefits! All this is available to you for only a low monthly premium.
